October was full of fun and active learning in 2nd Class A. We undertook leaf and bark rubbings as part of our SESE learning. We were exploring and identifying the signs of autumn. We also continued our journey of the New Primary Mathematics Curriculum learning through using every day objects and our new concrete materials. We were learning about greater than less than and equals and we used our signs in a playing cards activity. We also played a near doubles board game helping us with our mental strategies of near doubles.
