We held a Junior Prayer Assembly on Wednesday morning (Leap Classes- 2nd Class) to give thanks for our first month back to school, to celebrate the Feast of the Guardian Angels and to learn how we gather for an assembly. The children all learned the song Quiet and still for the occasion. Mr. Moonan led our prayer assembly in the hall. We brought up symbols of our school life so far including a packet of seeds to remind us of growing in our learning. Mr. Moonan lit the Guardian Angel candle and we prayed the Guardian Angel prayer together. We concluded with some prayers and finished again with our song. Many thanks to our RE Team for their assistance with this and well done to our staff and children who prepared for this special celebration.
