Fifth and Sixth Class completed projects on the counties of Ireland recently.
Many children picked their very own Co. Louth to research while others picked counties which they had a special connection with including Co. Mayo, Co. Kerry and Co. Dublin.
The children researched geographical features of their county, listed its neighbouring counties, drew and coloured its county and provincial crests and wrote a few facts about their chosen county. Some children handwrote their county projects while some chose to create PowerPoints.
All children presented their projects in front of the classroom to their peers on Friday. The children delivered excellent presentations and were happy to answer questions from their teacher and peers.
The children are already looking forward to doing their next project later this month!
