September was a busy month in 2nd Class A. We are enjoying the initial phase of the New Primary Mathematics Curriculum choosing different concrete materials for our number work. We were doing a lot of work on routes we take from school, routes from our classroom to the playground and we also were learning about the different amenities in our village. We were learning about different types of homes and we had great fun creating our houses in Visual Arts. We also created paper dolls using the story Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson as our inspiration.
